The clients of this stunning property in Llanidloes, required their single story residential property fully refurbishing and converting in to double story property with the addition of an annex for a holiday let. The project extended over a two and half year period, due to the restrictions of covid.

Phase 1 of the project started with the new build of the self-catering holiday lodge. This is now a beautiful 1 bed apartment which also comprises a kitchen, living space, bathroom and bedroom with fitted wardrobes. This stunning self-catering property looks down over the valley from the installed balcony.

Phase 2 involved us removing the roof of the bungalow, and then framing and re-roofing for the addition of the new floor. This upward extension allowed us to add 3-double bedrooms to the property with 2 of these rooms being en-suite, the perfect space for family and guests. Both these bedrooms also included balconies, where our clients can also admire the beautiful valley views.

Following Phase 2, we then started to reconfigure the now, ‘old bungalow space’. This included a newly fitted kitchen and utility, the taking out of 2 internal walls to make a larger reception area, and extending the garage space.

The final stage of this project included the landscaping of the garden space, which also included creating 2 new ponds and a patio area for the self-catering lodge.

We loved working closely with this client as they had an extremely creative vision and eye for detail. This can be seen with the interior design, garden design and landscaping of this project.
