A residential property in the centre of Newtown required some attention, with the client looking to extend and renovate his 3 bedroom property. The garage had previously been converted into a reception room by ourselves some 10 plus years ago.

Phase 1 – We started the project by converting this reception room into a luxury kitchen / diner, creating a utility and downstairs toilet leading off the space and adding a porch entrance, with oak storage cupboards onto the main entrance.

Phase 2 – The project included converting the new kitchen space from single-story into a double-story for an additional upstairs bedroom. This part of the project also required making a new stairs and access to the second floor of the house.

Phase 3 – Renovation of the main house, creating a new master bedroom with en-suite, a new family bathroom upstairs and reconfiguring the existing two bedrooms. The flooring of the upstairs also required replacement, along with the attic space.

Phase 4 – Taking out the downstairs flooring, all the way down to the cellar space, as this was old and in need of updating. The cellar has also had some work, which included putting in a tank to prevent damp. The floors have been rebuilt, and the living space has been recreated into a open-plan living area.

The final stage of this project has included rendering the outside of the property, as well as tarmacking the driveway and the erecting a garden pergola and new fencing.
